Wild, wild youth

It's not easiest task to find rockabilly clothing in larger sizes in Europe, but the german webshop Rockabilly Rules is a great exception. I was thrilled to find some really nice things there, many of them in a classic 50's juvenile deliquency, hot rod style.

Everything from their own brand Rumble59 is all made in sizes small to 3X and jeans up to 36/36".
Well THAT is something we're not spoiled with in Europe! These clothes makes me wanna hang out at a diner, race fast cars and break curfew....

Vintage stories

If you like the clean-cut vintage lifestyle, Betty Draper in "Mad Men" and light pastels, Kappahl's spring collection "Vintage Stories" is looking very promising! The keywords is 1950s, cupcakes, the female form and great details.
It's dresses, cardigans, childrens clothes, accessories and lots more. They even got aprons and cupcake forms, great idea!
"The feeling of the clothing is fresh, like they have been washed and then dried on a string in the sun".

As usual I'm quite disapointed with the sizes, nothing is larger than a size 46 (aprox. US 16) but I know the shape and the material is often quite forgiving so hopefully they will fit a wider range of body types.

A reason to love someone

I love it when I come home from work with aching feet, all cold and tired and my man treats me with pancakes with syrup and butter. No one makes better pancakes than he.

I wonder if there is a diagnosis for those who litterary can't stand living in a world as it looks today? If one gets headache and skin rash from the modern advertisement, fashion, values and beauty standards (just to name a few things that bothers me)?

If so, I thinkI have a serious dash of that condition....
