"Give me a call, princess...."

I wonder if I can manage to live one more day without this?
Crosley's "Princess Phone"! A wonderful replica of the classic phone launched by AT&T in 1959.
When I get around to buy one I will play 50's secretary all day long!

I know it's early but....

.... I long for Christmas! It's my favourite holiday of all and I love everything about it. Not necessarily the gifts (in fact, this year my man and I not be giving anything except to the dogs *smirk*) but the lights, the food, all the wonderful scents of spices and oranges...
I guzzle in decorations, light strings and vintage christmas music!
At the moment I'm listening to "Swingin' Christmas Party"which is just what it sounds like; a big bands playing classic christmas songs. Highly recommended!

Another favourite of mine is "A Merry 1940s Christmas", just look at the beautiful cover.

And as a starting shot of my month of dizziness of childish joy I got the lovely christmas hair clips from Sparxsdesigns on Etsy!

Snow chaos!

For the last couple of days it has been snowing heavily here on the east coast of Sweden. Yesterday the big storm came and now all buses to and from Norrtälje is cancelled ( several thousands of people can't get to work or school today), it's almost half a meter of snow everywhere and huge walls of snow on the sides where they have been able to plough.
I'm glad that our fridge is full and we got electricity...

The storm has now abated and we went for a walk early in the morning. The landscape looks like something from a fairytale now, I think it's really beautiful!

This picture is taken by my mother in their garden on the country side early this morning, featuring one of her miniture shetland ponies. My father tried to go to work three hours late, but turned around and went home again - it's impossible to cross town!

Please don't throw any rocks at me!
I know, I know - I have been a terrible bad blogger the past week but I have had my hands and head so busy you can't imagine.

Last Friday my man turned 30 and we threw a wine & cheese party for family and friends. It turned out great and I think everybody had a wonderful time.
Ola recived so many nice gifts and flowers, our apartment looks like a tropical greenhouse!

The day after that we went down to his parents house for dinner and ended up spending the night there, playing board games and having a few drinks. We also looked at pictures of Ola as a baby on the slide projector, so much fun!

Alright, so I'm gonna open up a little online flea market..
Basically because I got soo much things that really would love to have a new owner and also because I would like to offer my home made hairclips and other neat things I make.
At first I thought about making a simple little website but I'm really terrible bad at making pages. Then I thought "Hey, I can just make posts at my blog and mark them as flea market!". But that's a little bit boring, right? And not easy to navigate either.
What should I do? If I only knew someone who hade the skills and time to build a little website.
*sigh* I have to think about this and find a solution.

Update: ....and Rascal gave me a great solution. Thank you, honey!
